Dr. Placido Mursia

Senior Research Scientist

Placido Mursia is a Senior Research Scientist in the Space and Terrestrial Systems group at NEC Laboratories Europe, Germany. His research interests lie in non-terrestrial networks, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, integrated sensing and communication, wireless communications, convex optimization, and signal processing. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D from Sorbonne Université, Paris, at the Communication Systems department of EURECOM in 2021.
