Senior Research Scientist
Josep Xavier Salvat Lozano received his Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in 2022. He currently works as a Senior Research Scientist in the 6G Network Group at NEC Laboratories Europe, Heidelberg. He also teaches part-time at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in the Bachelor’s degree program in Telecommunication Systems Engineering. He has actively participated in several EU-funded projects, including H2020 5Growth, H2020 Daemon, and SNS-JU BeGREEN. His research interests lie in the application of artificial intelligence to real-life computer communications systems, including resource allocation and energy efficiency problems.
