Biography
Michio Honda is a researcher in computer networks and operating systems. He has been a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the US) in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh since 2020. He is best known for his work on identifying TCP extensibility against middlebox interference and building the first TCP/IP network stack for persistent memory. He received IRTF/ISOC Applied Networking Research Prize in 2011 and Facebook Research Award in 2021.
