Research Engineer
Michele is a researcher and engineer with a background in computer networks. His most recent professional interest is in generative AI applications. Previously, he worked on software-defined networking at the IMDEA Networks Institute, focusing on machine learning inference in programmable switches. During his PhD at the University of Palermo, Italy, he worked on emerging IoT access networks like LoRa and on wireless networks in general. He also hold an MSc from the same university and a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
